QuickBooks 2006 - Off in the Sunset
Yes, it IS that time again!
The 3 year "sunset cycle" for QuickBooks products is about to obsolete the QuickBooks 2006 product line.
As you may know, QuickBooks only provides technical support for the three most recent versions of their software - 2007, 2008, and 2009.
So, as of May 31, 2009, support will end for QuickBooks 2006. If you are using ANY of the QuickBooks payroll services AND QuickBooks 2006, an upgrade to QuickBooks 2009 will be required before the end of May. Otherwise, you will be unable to continue processing payrolls (and we don't want that to happen now do we?)
If you are not using QuickBooks payroll services, an upgrade to QuickBooks 2009 is optional. This means that if you contact QuickBooks support for any reasons relating to the 2006 product, they will not assist you.
