Crazy Man Rides Again in 2008!

After enduring a full day of rain and temperatures in the low 50s in 2007 (yes, that is me looking a bit wet!), I have vowed to ride again this year! (I must really be nuts!). Can I count on your support this year?

Ride what you ask? Ride my bicycle 150 miles to raise funds in support of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.

On August 16th and 17th, I will be joining nearly 2,000 cyclists for the 2008 MS 150 Bike Tour. We will pedal 150 miles on behalf of the fight against MS.

I am asking for your help in my endeavor. By making a tax-deductible donation in support of my ride, you will aid research efforts to find a cure for MS.

MS is a "prime of life" disease - striking people in their 20s to 50s. It causes unpredictable symptoms ranging from weakness to total paralysis, which come and go without any warning or pattern. Imagine wondering "Will I become paralyzed, blind or have trouble walking?"

My goal is to raise $2,500 this year. Please help me achieve this goal by sending your tax-deductible donation payable to the National MS Society in care of my office at:

    Using the Audit Trail Report

Trying to figure out why a number changed in a QuickBooks report? Trying to determine if a staff member is having trouble with QuickBooks and making unnecessary deletions or modifications to transactions? Use the QuickBooks Audit Trail report to help get the insight you are looking for.

Easily located at Reports > Accountant and Taxes > Audit Trail Report, this report literally provides a complete recap of every entry into your QuickBooks file. It tracks additions, modifications, and deletions based on user, date, and even time of day!

The Audit Trail report will show exactly how the transaction (or group of transactions) originally posted into QuickBooks and then how the modifications changed the posting as well.

This is a terrific report to use as a training tool in a multi-user environment. It has also been used to help businesses identify some fraudulent transactions that were being entered and then later deleted by an employee!
